The NCAA Eligibility and Certification Coordinator leads the unit on initial and continuing eligibility, working closely with the Admissions Office, Registrar’s Office, Enrollment Management, Student Success Centers, International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS), Athletics Department, and Faculty. In compliance with NCAA and Mountain West Conference eligibility standards, the coordinator ensures student-athletes meet Title IX, California State University (CSU), and San José State University (SJSU) regulations, all aimed at supporting degree completion. This role involves building strong relationships with athletic coaches, administrators, faculty, and campus partners. Additionally, the coordinator assists the Managing Director of SARC and the Athletics Compliance team in calculating and submitting the Academic Progress Rate (APR) and Graduation Success Rate (GSR). |
