University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We’re responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.

Position Summary
Temporary, Full Time, Non-Exempt, Benefitted position through 12/31/2025 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).
Salary: $3,900.00-$4,583.00 per month.
Location: CSUSB Campus

Work Schedule
40 hours per week. Schedule to be arranged, but typically, Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm though some nights, weekend work may be required.

Typical Activities
Under minimal supervision of the CEVSS Program Director, the Project Coordinator will work independently to:
- Guide students during the postsecondary admissions and financial aid processes and criteria, including but not limited to veterans’ educational processes, GI Bill, college entrance exams, admissions criteria, FAFSA, scholarships, housing and other resources for veterans’ postsecondary success.
- Recruit students.
- Complete records management and training for staff and students.
- Prepare and facilitate workshops and seminars.
- Coordinate and implement student services, work with parents and serve as a liaison with community and educational agencies.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Work cooperatively with a diverse group of people, exercise sound judgement.
- Determine priorities, complete assigned projects in a timely manner and work well under tight deadlines.
- Visit the Palm Desert Campus, host campuses and other venues for conferences and meetings.
- Other department related duties.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree required in Education, Counseling, or other related field.
- Experience: Two years professional work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Military experience, either as a veteran, a current service member, guard member, or reservist. Spouse and dependents are given some preference.

Strong preference will be given to candidates that have training in advising and graduation requirements.

Graduate degree preferred Preference for degrees in social/behavioral sciences, public health, counseling.
